They took McNabb for that reason and to win games.
There's alot of veterans on the team, no reason to throw the season away.
If they had off season workouts maybe Ponder would have been ready, but not now.

I don't hear Vikings news and gossip like I do the Steelers, but then again, I have only one or two Vikings friends on fb.... anyhoo... maybe your boys were teaching Christian plays and such like Ben, Pouncey and others have done with some of our guys, with out of state workouts and such...
