For the one millionth time "if they signed him to a $20 million contract in 2015 we wouldn't be having this conversation." Its only a game and Jay's had 5 years to get it right, but I did dig the way the Skins opened the season. How much if any credit is owed to Alex I have no clue. We actually looked like an all around competent team and coaching staff in week one. That's something that couldn't really be said the last 4 years.

i had us starting out 1-1 ( with the loss coming from the colts ) , but if we could go into the packer game 2-0 and leave the saints game 3-1 that gentleman would be a coup (i had us going 2-2 )

Legendary in what he failed to do, Shanahan failed to do prior to that, and the organization failed to do in being unprepared to sit him after being determined to draft him. It is interesting that he's found a spot on the 53 man roster, after sitting out a season (not necessarily of his doing) studied and worked his way back into a very serviceable back-up position.
