First, I have no idea of what the Rangers were asking. Neither do you.

Second, it isn't a fuck-up until it's all said-and-done. There's lots of opportunities to make a deal, and not just during the trade deadline.

Don't assume the worse.

This sweep could force the Astros to open the ALCS at Fenway or at Yankee stadium.

The Red Sox won 3 in a row while we swept the Astros. That hurts this late in the season in the race for first.
