Yes it would get Kemba but the Cavs would never do that. Too much for Kemba
That is a deal that wouldn't make sense for either team. Charlotte doesn't want Love because they are trying to shed salary and bottom out.

Talking a Kawhi Leonard trade to the Lakers in existence is not happening. By all accounts, the Spurs have said they're not trading him out West.
Not exactly. There have also been several reports that would deal with Western Conference teams, including the Lakers.
There's a reason it's called the lying season. Everyone has/is being given conflicting reports.
Shane still on the "help us, we're the Cavs" rap, huh...?
Not really - but I think they would offer Lonzo Ball up to dump the Deng contract - Lonzo Ball was a disappointment any way and his dad causes to much problems - Lakers have 34 million signed, they have 60 million - that's 35 for James, and 25 for Chris Paul - They have bird rights to Randle and then they would be at their capacity. No question though they need to dump it. It's going to cost the Lakers to do that
I agree. Which is why I defer to the personality that is Pop. That doesn't seem like the type of guy that's wanting to help out the Lakers and would consider that a last resort.
If you don’t think they can acquire an all-star you are just hoping. They can get Kemba, which is the most likely player they can acquire
I actually kind of think they are.Yeah, the Spurs are not going to willingly deal with the Lakers. But they also aren't stupid/shortsighted enough to not deal with them if they have the best offer, just to spite Kawhi or just because it's the Lakers.
1. the Hornets would never come out and say "yes we are looking to deal our all time leading scorer in franchise historyTalk about hoping.
2 problems here.
1. The Hornets have said they aren't looking to trade Kemba.
2. Do you really think Kemba Walker is enough to entice Lebron to stay?
I actually kind of think they are.
I do not think Pop wants to send the message that he and the Spurs can be strong armed by a player under contract.

2. IF the Lakers cant get George, CP3 or KAwhi- then yes, i do think Kemba is enough. Of course that is an awfully big IF.

and the thing is the Spurs have plenty of good will in the bank and winning on their resume to do that kind of thing and to have more of a long term approach rather than a panicked-back against the wall- trying to be strong armed situation. That's my line of thinking. For the Spurs, it sends the message that they're the quality franchise that they perceive to be. Sure, it may not net them the best deal potentially, but the long term message is what they're probably aiming for. If the Spurs eventually trade Kawhi to the Lakers and give into their demands, other players will likely feel that they can pull off the same stunt.
