Apparently, the Cavs never fully recovered from the refs butcher jobs and J.R. Smith's blunder. The Cavs never really got back into the series after Game 1 if they were even in it to begin with.
I thought the Cavs could win one or possibly 2. I had no doubt that the Warriors would be in control for the most part. Unfortunately - that first game was the one I thought they could win - and didn't.

The odds were against them in every game, but yeah, I thought they'd get enough breaks and good play to win one game.

He meant next year when he's a Rockets fan.

That's not how it works. Next year he will pick the second best team again and declare them the champs. Then when the Warriors win he will be 'happy', but if they lose he will be 'right'. Not that any of us will fall for it but it's how he rolls.

It's hilarious how people keep waiting for his skills to decline. He's still the best all around player in the game & had a great regular season. And his skills won't greatly diminish next year if healthy.

still, he's got a point. 1 or 2 years still wouldn't be enough for me, even if it WEREN'T for my strong dislike of the guy...

we already suffered the Kobe tour. who wants to go through THAT again...?

I don't like Irving but if he can help the Celtics win another title I'll tolerate him. As far as LeBron, I just don't see him returning to the Cavs, their roster is terrible.

As far as your comment that no good players want to play w/ LeBron. Wade & Bosh say hello.:heh:

Yeah.

That is an insane comment that has been proven wrong.

Hell, Kevin Love (though overrated as hell) chose to stay in Cleveland to play with LeBron and he had a pretty miserable first year there. Players defintely want to play with LeBron.

That was game 1, but dumb(refs) and dumber (JR) intervened

And so was the case with Kareem, Michael, and others. Father Time wins every time. Granted he is the best player but I was making a suggestive observation that GM's should re-evaluate their stances that perhaps they have a better scenario already in place that would favor the long-term for their team and what they want to accomplish.

MJ was still the best player in the league when he retired in '98 at the age of 35.

Yes, his skills had diminished by the time he came back to play the Wizards at 39 after 3 seasons off, but that isn't what we are talking about here. Not a great comparison if you are trying to use the Father Time argument.

Alright guys,

Posted this earlier but will try again.

I own Wiggy's avatar for the next 2 weeks and I need some suggestions.

@bksballer89, @Heatles84, @msgkings322, @CitySushi, @Shaqdaddy11

Any and all ideas are welcome

Wiggy seems to have an issue with the Miami Heat more than any other team.

My suggestion would be something to do with Pat Riley or Whiteside.

But sadly, following the typical wiggy pattern over the years we probably won't see him for a while.

So the Rockets with Chris Paul are better than this Warriors team, you sticking with that? Why did you say 'see you back here next year' then, referring to the Ws? Won't the better Rockets beat them this time?
I'm not sure. When this team plays well they are very good. Its the lack of focus and effort that they display that had me thinking the Rockets would win it plus having HC.
What do you make of this? It really surprised me......

Ok, I am happy Warriors won and LeBron didn't, but GS's dynasty is nowhere near that of the Bulls. People want to bitch and complain, myself included, that LeBron has to have all-stars or join all-star teams to win titles, and the debate goes on about the Bulls/Jordan if they were an all-star team that aided in Jordan winning titles, but c'mon, the Bulls dynasty and even the Lakers dynasty were more impressive than what the Warriors are doing.

The Warriors are basically a gamer playing a video game and just stacking his favorite team with all the best players, and probably put all the game play sliders up to 100.

Dynasty lists should be listed as follows;
Bulls
Lakers
Spurs
Warriors*

Yes, an asterisk folks.
