One guy responded to Sullivan''s tweet about Ray Davis' comment and questioned the drafting and development of players with JD at the helm. His was met with a response by a guy listing 5 or 6 players who have made it to the big leagues from the Rangers organization as a defense of JD''s ability. Two of the guys he listed were Chi Chi and Luke Jackson. Lol. With fans like that JD doesn't need any detractors.

You know in player development, I think a players mental state including handling pressure and the grind of a season and training is huge. A lot of these are kids just growing up and developing right before our eyes. Some have good stuff but need more work between the ears IMO

Whatever happens in July may well be determined by injuries or poor play by players on contending teams. We have a lot of pieces available, but multiple teams will have to develop strong interest to bring back something that can help us 2-4 years down the road. I never want players to get hurt, but if some are going to get hurt I hope we have a Plan B available for them.

Sometimes thinking outside the box brings negative reactions, but when you think inside the box that isn't received well either. I guess you can't please everybody and some can never be pleased.
