CJs take.
7-8 range. The part to me that I was fed up with was our announcers defending it. Send them to Chicago.Poll: Was Odor slide last night dirty?
Scale from 1 to 10
1- Hard legal and clean
5- Borderline -----Within the rules but spike up. Let it slide (sic)
10- Filthy------------ Suspend him MLB!!!
My post last night was right after it happened. I saw it and did not like it. Punk play. We lost. Go and get ready for the next night. Glad players are protected some from a serious injury. CJ and his light crap can take a hike.Post 31 has video

Juan Pablo Martinez will start out in the Domiican Summer League for now.
Ok I have no problem with a guy breaking up a double play so long as the cleats are down. I do think the rules have softened too much at home plate.
Surely the catcher is entitled to part of the plate when taking a throw especially from Left field Conversely when taking a grow from Right the catcher should have some protection and not get mugged by runner like Pete Rose did.
I was taught to take out the second baseman but to do it with ankle. Really needed for umps to be smarter and use more common sense. If Simmons is injured and out for a game then I would not object to Odor losing one game. But if no harm no foul then best to let it go IMO
I think it was Chase Utley injuring Ruben Tejada with a slide in a playoff game.I think the rules changed because of the buster posey incident.

I believe you're both correct. Posey changed the catching rule, Utley the basepaths rule.
We have lost some really good posters. Really don't know why. Hope they see it clear to return.I know it’s been a rough season and we don’t have anything to play for or much hope, but I’m glad people still post here.
I think we would have a higher level of engagement if the team was good.
I don't think so. The guys I;m thinking of are serious sports people that don't run from off years. Most of them don't hit and run. Saddles is a good example of the type guys I'm talking about and of course we all know Bennie is certainly active for our good. I miss Murph, Daryl Gann, Romeo, Rev,UK Cowboy, Winding My Watch, The Ranger Dude just to mention a few. These guys are good baseball posters that have lots of knowledge that everyone can learn from. I'm done. Sorry if I bored ya.I know it’s been a rough season and we don’t have anything to play for or much hope, but I’m glad people still post here.

Odor needs to be suspended for that slide
