Thanks, thought so.

the guy that hasn't won a playoff game?
you guys about have him in the HOF
No. I saw how important a backup the level of foles was this season. If they didn't have him they go out quietly against Atlanta. Did it weigh in their decision? Probably. I would definitely disagree with saying it was just about wentz though.do you agree them declining that trade is nothing more than caution about wentz?
I don't know. I can't predict the future but I don't see any way his value can be higher next year than this year. He just won a SB. A year from now he's likely just another backup. In the unlikely scenario that next year he is worth a first it means he is the Eagles starting QB and something happened with Wentz
Week 1 huh?
Must need to sell season tickets still.

You are crazy. 6 weeks into the season Foles becomes just as useful as any back up in the league.Good move by both teams. Cleveland would have stolen a starting QB with a 35th pick. The Eagles have more value in having Foles as the backup than the 35th pick could provide.
I completely disagree.Good move by both teams. Cleveland would have stolen a starting QB with a 35th pick. The Eagles have more value in having Foles as the backup than the 35th pick could provide.
I get the insurance part and all along said hes worth more to the Eagles than a trade, but I never thought any team would offer a pick this high.I think you guys are crazy. The Eagles benefited from the insurance of Foles and won the Superbowl. Keeping him in the backup role is worth more than the 35th pick. They learned that.
I don't think the Eagles would have won the Superbowl with the Typical QB that they could have picked up. They had insurance that paid off. Now they are doing the same. Foles is cheap for them.I get the insurance part and all along said hes worth more to the Eagles than a trade, but I never thought any team would offer a pick this high.
Again I get it, but if Wentz plays they have no need for Foles and they could have pulled easily picked a key contributor with that 35th pick. Plus I think Foles just caught fire for them and I doubt he could do it twice.I don't think the Eagles would have won the Superbowl with the Typical QB that they could have picked up. They had insurance that paid off. Now they are doing the same. Foles is cheap for them.
Looks great until Wentz stays healthy all year and Foles walks after next season for 0I think you guys are crazy. The Eagles benefited from the insurance of Foles and won the Superbowl. Keeping him in the backup role is worth more than the 35th pick. They learned that.
But his salary is a cheap insurance.Looks great until Wentz stays healthy all year and Foles walks after next season for 0

Oh, well, he should pick up right where he left off then.Where are you getting your secret insider news cause everything I’ve read has said week 1.
So much wrong with this post. They weren't trying to screw dallas. They thought dallas might draft a player the eagles wanted so they moved up in front of them to get him. It had nothing to do with getting the best of Dallas. Rather it had to do with the fact they wanted a good tight end (many thought the best te in the draft) and Dallas badly needed a te. And the idea that dallas had zero plans of drafting a te is laughable. I know they try to spin it after the fact but nobody outside the cowboys draft room has any idea what they actually were hoping for. Of course they are going to say they got the guy they wanted.LOL...we'll see about all that
they traded up too and thought they were screwing Dallas when Dallas had zero plans of drafting the TE in that slot.
Always on their mind....darn shame the champs remain that insecure about all things Dallas...reminds me of Washington
