I'm not sure this team is capable of sweeping anyone. They have had many chances against subpar teams so far and it hasn't happened. There seems to be too many warts on this team to dominate anyone for a 3 game stretch.

I hope nobody thought I was really serious about a 4 game sweep- that limb I went out on broke when the whole tree blew down earlier this spring during a wind storm.

Ok, unfortunate that the 'hard slide' caused his foot to come off the bag.

But, c'mon, he was OUT. Nice play Kyle for 3rd out.

Not too pissed about that call. Yes he did briefly lose contact with the base and got tagged out when he lost contact with the base, but he was there.

Additionally, the Tigers didn't score so it doesn't matter.

If you look at it in slo-mo, he definitely did lose contact with second base and got tagged when he wasn't on the base. They blew that call, but it was such a bang-bang play that you can't complain too much.

I agree. I've hated Dave Sims for a while. I was sad when I turned the game on and heard he was doing play-by-play. Goldsmith was great IMO.
