Exactly. Pretty nuts that despite all the issues they had on both sides of the ball, they are at least an 11 win team last year with a real kicker. Thinking specifically the Washington and Arizona game. You could throw in the Falcons game but I think Atlanta was the better team so I don't count that one as much.Blair Walsh is anything but a real kicker.

The wheels are gonna fall off next year. I don't see how they survive that schedule against the vikings, packers, lions, chargers, chiefs, raiders, panthers, and cowboys. Not to mention their own division with two emerging teams and they can't even sweep the other one. No one wants to even think about it but Seattle will be below .500.
Seattle isn't as good of a team that started 2017 but they aren't as bad of a team that finished 2017.
I see them as a 7 to 8 win kind of team and as long as Wilson is there they'll be competitive and respectable.
The offensive line will play better under Solari but it wasn't an immensely talented group before and Solari isn't going to magically fix that.
When it comes to receiving threats it's Baldwin and just some guys. Nothing at TE and Lockett doesn't seem quite the same after his broken leg.
Penny should do well for them and the RB depth is pretty decent but I just don't think the O line will be dominant enough to run the ball like they clearly want to do.
Schottenheimer was a terrible hire and all they did was replace Bevel with someone at best will be a lateral move but likely a step-down.
Defensively they have the cornerstones of Wagner and Thomas but the LOB days are definitely dead. There is talent on the defensive front with guys like Frank Clark but there really isn't a guy that's just dominant upfront.
CBs should be solid but there isn't much depth and like the defensive front there isn't that dominant shut down kind of guy like they had with Sherman.
Norton at DC was another questionable hire. He's a fantastic linebackers coach but so far he's shown he isn't a great DC. The Raiders defense got better after he got fired which is a big red flag there. Pete is heavily involved in the defense so it's not as impactful as the Schottenheimer hire but I don't think Norton is an upgrade at the position.
This is dumb Russell Wilson has had a pro bowl season every year since being in the league when was the last time a team with a pro bowl QB that finished the season all 16 games win only 4-5 games?
I agree. The rams are clearly the best team in that division
Philip Rivers in 2016
you say this like it’s an easy thing to do for teams....Remove players from the equation that don't produce and plug in guys who have the heart to go out and play well for you.

If you think getting rid of superstar talent over the years (Lynch, Sherman, Bennett, etc) and replacing them with lesser players is an effective rebuild or retool, you are crazy. That’s essentially what you are trying to get me to believe, without saying it. You have a very good QB. I shouldn’t have said great, that implies Rodgers/Brady level. The Seahawks lost a lot of talent. They’re already starting to lose ground on everybody else. All you had to say. Exactly. Thus rebuilds are easier.
Yeah.... that happens to every team. I don’t know why it needs to be explained...That's why during training camp, alot of teams hold open competitions for many positions on their roster such as QB RB and WR just to name a few. Often times those open competition spill over into the preseason games where coaches can really gauge the talent of their players.
