I'm starting to wonder if Paul George is fool's gold. He seems to consistently come up small in big moments.
Exactly. Guys like Melo and PG can't find a rhythm.Well again. When Westbrook is dribbling up the court and chucking up ill-advised 3's, it's really hard for anyone to get anything going or really in this case have an opportunity to contribute offensively.
I don't know about fools gold, but he definitely is not a franchise player. Then again, I don't think many here ever thought he was.
I still think he is a highly valuable 2 way player. But if he is your best guy, your team probably won't be that good. I would like to see how he fits in a new location like LA or Philly before I go so far as to call him fools gold.
That said, the market price will be $30 some million a year. Only legit superstars are truly worth 30% of the cap, and George isn't that.

Jazz proved me wrong about them.
I wonder if Donovan Mitchel would've happened this fast if Hayward had stayed.
WOW BILLY DONOVAN IS COACHING OKC?!?! I DIDNT KNOW THIS
I'm still trying to figure out how Russ got an and 1 when he was fouled 15 feet from the basket on a layup yet George's wasn't a shooting foul when he was clearly shooting
