Life is what you've made of it.
Peyton Manning was the all time robbed of the Heisman winner.
Has to be Young with a 2nd place finish for Manning.Vince Young & Andrew Luck immediately spring to mind.
Young was electric, but I've never seen a more picture-perfect NFL-style college QB than Luck. He might have been the only player I made a point to be at the TV for late Saturday nights.
Deshaun Watson
Least impressive Heisman winner: Derrick Henry. Dalvin Cook was better and didn't even get an invite that year. Not to mention Cook lit up their common opponents (Clemson and UF) like Henry never did AND Cook was a really good receiver.
Bianchi: Dalvin Cook deserves Heisman more than Derrick Henry
In the last 35 years, there have been two Power 5 running backs to rush for at least 1,600 yards and average 7.9 yards per carry. Their names are Reggie Bush and Dalvin Cook.
Derrick Henry broke the SEC single season rushing yard record that was set in 1981 by Herschel Walker and he did it on less carries than Walker.
He rushed for 189 yards against Florida, while Dalvin Cook rushed for 183. He also rushed for 158 against Clemson, vs Dalvins 194. Oh and as for being a better reciever, Dalvin Cook had a total of 14 yards recieving in those games.
But it's an entire season. Henry rushed for over 2200 yards. Cook for 1700 and 400 recieving.
So I really don't think you know what the fuck you are talking about.
Way more carries = more yards. Henry had almost 60 more carries in that season than the 2nd most guy in the country (McCaffery)
2015
Cook vs Clemson...21-194
Cook vs UF............26-183
Henry vs Clemson..36-158
Henry vs UF...........44-189
Henry was a really good RB, but not like Cook.
Ndamukong Suh was a badass in college.
But if you're not a QB or a RB, you can't win the Heisman.
