Robinson is the only impact WR on the market. Everybody else is signed "for potential."

Richardson is a burner, but also had a great deep ball qb throwing to him. Same with Moncrief (with Luck).

Watkins SHOULD be a #1 wr, but he disappeared with good qb play last year (Goff), and wasn't that great in Buffalo either.

I would hope that the redskins resign Long AND Zac Brown, but they would have to come on team-friendly deals.
It's more likely, IMO, that Long signs to a team friendly deal than Brown does.

I like the looking at DL to come for visits, but the two Jets guys were poor attitude guys to begin with. Not sure I'd want them here, unless they had changed their tune.

Robinson is 25 years old. It is just as likely that he'll recover in one year, in a new situation, without horrific Blake Bortles throwing to him, as it is to say that he'll need 2 years.

Hell, the Niners just gave Richard Sherman an incentive laden 3 year deal, and THEY aren't too worried about "if he is going to take two years" to get back to being an All Pro CB.

what the 49ers did with sherman is on them . i would say that wasnt a prudent move at all

history shows it takes time ( one year one the field ) to be right again after an ACL . now if he heals quicker then hey, that is a bonus . my question is would you accept signing him on my premise ?

i dont like to go against history when i plan. i plan for the worst and hope for the best

Your premise is based on what you see on the field. You aren't a doctor, so you don't have any idea if ACL's take a year for the player to "get back to normal."

That's just based on you watching football. In reality, many, many athletes professional or recreational are back to normal in LESS than one year after rupturing their ACL. That's reality.

Your premise is faulty.

As I mentioned, I would sign Robinson, as long as he is determined to be "recovering nicely" as determined by team doctors, etc.

And I would have company in that line of thinking. Case in point: Sherman / 49ers.

my opinion is based on available data , yes they return within a year , never said they didnt but usually it takes a year of playing again before their explosiveness returns to what it was before the injury

Thanks Sty. I would have rather seen him stay in Jacksonville but I don't think they wanted to pay the asking price. I did not think he was coming here although I hoped they would have interest.

I am okay with that. I didn't want Watkins. Chiefs will have two guys that can go deep. With Mahomes at QB maybe they will run a lot of go routes and his 70 yard arm. Actually the could do some clearing out so Kelce and Hunt can have room underneath.
