Alex Smith is a pretty damn good QB but yea,, dont like the trade for him. Funny, Cousins yesterday was no better than a back up in this league over in Cowpie nation... today, the idiot Skins just said goodbye to Joe Montana the 2nd. Bottom line Kirk didnt want to be here.. cant blame him.. and the skins did the only thing they could to clean up the mess they made.

Except they didn’t have to trade for Alex Smith, so it wasn’t the only thing they could do. They could have taken numerous other guys with an equal likelihood of success here without giving up the capital and at a lower price than the Smith extension. Considering the people on here who were against KC because of cap space, wouldn’t it have been wiser to sign somebody who is equal to Smith at a lower cost?

Well the bar is set fairly low.
I do agree Fuller and a number of available QBs would be much better for the your team. Fuller; Keenum and a drafted QB is the way I'd have went.
