Malcolm Butler missed curfew, had weed on him, and argued with coaches over it

I'm not sure how much of anything we can truly believe. Some media schlupp reports he had a bad week of practice and people want to run with that. Butler played 98 & of the snaps, he tackles well, covers well, and this is the biggest game of the season and you bench him the whole game? Cmon man, I can see not starting the kid but this was over the top.

I am not a huge fan of Belichik. I think he is a great coach, but I don't hold him very high for integrity. However, I do think he showed a lot of integrity in putting Butler on the bench. Kudos to you Coach for doing the right thing here.

With players, Belichick is a straight shooter and has that reputation. He will tell it like it is, instead of promising things he can't or won't deliver on. He's also very vet friendly - treats the newer guys like crap tho, especially when they see dollar signs and are coming out of their rookie deals.

Kinda have that feeling I had when Assante Samuel left - "don't let the door hit you on the way out". Assante cost us the perfect season with that should be interception of Eli late in the game, Butler likely cost us this one by being a dumbass.
