Getting worked by G5 programs is the new norm for Oregon. They are perfectly happy with 7 wins seasons and faggy uniforms. That Defense was AWESOME!!! if it wasnt for horrible decision making on Boise St's part your defense would have given up 51!!! KEEP HIM THE WHOLE PAC12 says KEEP HIM!!! ROCK STAR(for the opposing team)
Oh damn....Who cares. How was that butt fucking by Boise St though?![]()
Really the best part of this news for them as a team right now is it should help prevent more flips from their class and right before the first signing period.
Outside of that, their defense still wasn't very good this year.
Exactly that defense that let a 4-8 neb team who couldnt fight out of wet paper bags on offense came back in ghe 2nd half 21-0 to only be down by 1 score...Really the best part of this news for them as a team right now is it should help prevent more flips from their class and right before the first signing period.

Leavitt is a decent DC but is he worth $1.7 mil. a year?In the short term, this is probably good news for them. They keep both coordinators and hold some continuity together at a time just before the first signing date. That's a solid thing for any team that just lost it's head coach. Sweeping staff changes throw all kinds of tailspins into recruiting classes this late.
Long term? Not sure it's a bonus. Leavitt hasn't shown he can build a dominating defense that I'm aware of.
I’ll be really curious to see if they can hold onto their top 10 class.
Too bad Oregon didn't wear these unis. Boise mighta only drubbed em by 9.OREGON DUCKS!!

I mean this is far from the first time they have overpaid to get or hold players. Pay a crap ton to a guy to make sure you have the 4*'s that already were verbals to the team? Doesn't seem like too much of a stretch for the Knights.Leavitt is a decent DC but is he worth $1.7 mil. a year?
It's a fan base still relatively new to the game at this level and still high off their run with overconfidence in how easy it is to return to that level. Not a chance in hell, they were really only a 15-20 class to start with before the de-commits. They only showed up high for awhile because they had 25 commits while others had like 13. Crappy average told the truth, don't know why Oregon went nuts over the class - it's really just a slightly above average Oregon class, but not even their best in recent history.
