Wisconsin is going to be able to name their score this week. It wouldn't surprise me if it ended up being 56-0. :sigh: (we could use a emoticon with a paper bag over it's head)

He is signed through 2023, why start looking for a new gig?

I see. Thought the extension was for 2018.

He was signed through 2022 and the one year extension moves it to 2023.

Actually, Fleck was under contract thru the 2021 season, and now this new one-year extension moves it thru the 2022 season. Also, the University of Minnesota Board of Regents still needs to officially approve the extension.

Gophers give Coach Fleck 1 Year contract extension

I hope Iowa sucks worse than Nebraska today.

Unfortunately, Nebraska can make the suckiest team not so sucky.

Iowa wins

Nice strong finish to the season by Norhwestern. Hopefully they will be ranked in the top 20. I really believe Michigan is a top 25 team especially if Miss st. is somehow a top 15 team according to the moronic committee. Purdue finished with 6 wins so that's a positive for them.

I think the BIG West tied the BIG East this year. Does anyone have the actual record for this?

If Nebraska acquires Frost as their HC I can see the BIG West becoming the better division.

Purdue wins and is bowl eligible. I think Brohm did the best job of any of the HC's in the B1G. That place was awful the last couple years...so props to him...and those kids

Just came to this thread to comment on that. I wonder if Brohm is on any of these bigger named team's radar looking for a coach. Western Kentucky regressed to 6-6 from 11-3 without him and he turned a complete garbage Purdue team around to bowl eligible (and competitive in losses) in his first year.

I don't think he goes anywhere yet, but if Purdue continues to show improvement and maybe gets to 8 wins or more over the next season or two, then he won't be there long.

Perhaps. Another 2-3 good seasons at Purdue and he should be all set as Nebraska's next coach after whomever they get this time.

Anyone else disappointed with the games yesterday? I enjoyed watching them, but there weren't really any close finishes or dramatic 4th quarters. Quite a few of the late night games ended up being blowouts.

The Bama loss gives us a bit of chaos. The conference championship games are going to be very important.

Hey instead of saying something that's completely inaccurate try looking some info up next time.

BigTen E: 50-34 & 34-29 in conference
BigTen W: 45-39 & 29-34 in conference

My B1G Power Rankings after Week 13

1. Wisconsin (12-0, 9-0)
- Last Week: 1 - The Badgers have taken care of all 12 opponents that was put in front of them. They have won their last 4 games by 138-41. Iowa and Michigan are involved in those 4 games. This next week, we will find out who finishes #1.

2. Ohio State (10-2, 8-1) - Last Week: 2 - With Alabama and Miami losing, Ohio State could most likely be in the CFP if they win. So, the Buckeyes are in control of their own destiny. After their blowout loss to Iowa a month ago, Ohio State has won by a combined 131-37. Ohio State leads the B1G in scoring.

3. Penn State (10-2, 7-2)
- Last Week: 3 - Since Penn State had back-to-back losses vs Ohio State and Michigan State, they have outscored their opponents 157-55. Only Wisconsin has allowed less points this season. Wisconsin and Northwesternhave allowed less points vs B1G opponent than Penn State.

4. Northwestern (9-3, 7-2)- Last Week: 4 - Northwestern has been the dark horse of the conference that nobody is talking about. Started 2-3 and had a loss to Duke. Since then, they won 7 consecutive games. Since their 3 overtime victories, they have outscored their opponents 104-20.

5. Michigan State (9-3, 7-2) - Last Week: 5 - The Spartans had the best turnaround team from last season as they could be a 10-win team if they win their bowl game. They have won 3 of their last 4 games and outscored their last 2 games 57-14 after being blown out by Ohio State.

6. Michigan (8-4, 5-4)- Last Week: 6 - The Wolverines finished the season with two losses, but they were against the teams that are in the B1G CG. But they have looked impressive in both games in the first half but their opponent took over in the second half.

7. Purdue (6-6, 4-5)- Last Week: 7 - Purdue finished the season winning 3 of their last 4 games, losing to Northwestern by 10. Only Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Penn State have allowed less points vs B1G than Purdue. Not bad for a team that lost to Nebraska and Rutgers.

8. Iowa (7-5, 4-5) - Last Week: 8 - The Hawkeyes finished with 241 points vs B1G opponents. They scored 111 points vs Ohio State and Northwestern. But in the 2 games between those two games, they scored 29 points, 16 of which were scored by the defense.

9. Indiana (5-7, 2-7) - Last Week: 9 - You can say the Hoosiers won 2 of their last 3 games, and outscored their opponent in the 2 wins by 65-14, but was against Rutgers and Illinois. They have lost 5 of their last 7.

10. Nebraska (5-7, 3-6) - Last Week: 11 - The Huskers really finished on a low note, as they lost by 42 to Iowa at Memorial Stadium. The only positive they really have this season is they have a good chance to get a solid coach in a poor coaching pool.

11. Minnesota (5-7, 2-7) - Last Week: 10 - Heading into November, the Gophers had the #1 scoring defense. Heading into December, they have the 9th scoring defense. They dropped four of their last 5 games. In the last 2 games, they were outscored 70-0.

12. Rutgers (4-8, 3-6) - Last Week: 12 - In their last three games, the Scarlet Knights were outscored 116-13. They have dropped 4 of their last 5 games. Only Illinois finished with less points forced than Rutgers.

13. Maryland (4-8, 2-7) - Last Week: 13 - The Terps finished 14th in points allowed in entire season and 14th in points allowed vs B1G teams. Only B1G team to allow more than 400 points this season. They finish the season on a 4-game losing skid.

14. Illinois (2-10, 0-9) - Last Week: 14 - The Fighting Illini finished the season without a victory vs a B1G opponent. They failed to score more than 24 points in any of their games and did not allow less than 24 in any of their losses.

Thankfully the Badgers rested their starters in the fourth quarter or you might have been close to right.
