Logan Brown sent back to the minors from Ottawa.

Are there any other big name prospects teams have to decide on? Dubois on Columbus is one (1 pt in 8 games but very good possession in SSS), Victor Mete in MTL another.

Sergachev played his 10th game last night so one year of ELC is burned. Could still be sent back before he burns a year towards UFA (40 games). With 9 points already me thinks he's here to stay but he's only averaging about 12-13 minutes a night.

Also, is Sam Bennett still eligible for reassignment to the CHL? :spy:

Guessing he stays. Edmonton's speed is a serious issue, one Yamamoto helps with.

Sheltered minutes plus continued PP production should keep him in the lineup.

Dash would rather see him reassigned to Montreal methinks.

I didn't see last night's game, but Sam played on the wing and by most accounts it was his best game of the season. Perhaps it's time for the Flames and Sam to consider playing wing a permanent move :noidea:

Dubois is probably not going to go anywhere, especially now that Sedlak's foot has fallen off.

He's not lighting it up, but he is playing 4th line minutes while contributing defensively.

Barring a major crash between now and game 40 he's here to stay. Team is looking too good with him in the lineup to mess that up.

Regarding Yamamoto, I think he should be returned to junior, but the Oilers are still such a tire-fire that they will probably be keeping him. Great to see Phil Kessel blow by Lucic for the GWG last night, enjoy that contract Edmonton.

From the "whodda thunk it" department...

More money was bet on the Chicago Blackhawks-Vegas Golden Knights game last night at Station Casinos sportsbooks than was bet on the New York Jets-Miami Dolphins game on Sunday

Between him and Pierre that game was very hard to watch.

Yes, they were even worse than the Sabres. Which isn't easy.

About halfway through the first, I said to my wife that I preferred Jody Shelley and Jeff Rimer and Mrs 43 said "these announcers must really suck".

I couldn't tell who Mike Milbury was most disappointed in - Evander Kane, Alex Wennberg, PL Dubois, Panarin, Pominville or Ryan Murray.

Jackets realized the Sabres were tired from the last game, and they pounced. And if Bob doesn't make the stop on ROR on the breakaway thats a completely different game.

Tired or not, it was clear that the Jackets were the better team last night. Other than the ROR breakaway, I only remember one other really good scoring opportunity, a 2 on 1 later in the second.

I don't think the Sabres were terrible, and they started to get on a roll in the second. Just felt like all the air went out of their sails when Bob made that save. They chipped away and chipped away and finally got loose. Then Bob was there. Shoulders started to drop.

Then Torts made the move and put Atkinson down a line and Bjork scored. Completely different game from there.
