Dog gone it @Terry Rode now you've piqued my curiosity. There's a fantasy game created by some posters here and now I'm wondering if any of them got Kirk in their draft? Hey @Krusheasy, how about it?

Say what you want about RG3, but he gave the Redskins their first winning record since 2007 and your first division title since 1999. But like I said, he hit the fan after that.

Any one that knowing how things turned out can even remotely attempt to defend or justify the RG3 debacle while at the same time suggesting we really should probably get rid of Cousins, has basically lost any credibility they might have had.

Any one ever notice those that tend to down play Kirk tend to be of the mind set that we make the same or similar mistake as we made in REACHING for Griffin??

Yup. I also like how they say that RG3 gave us that winning season, but any success KC has had is a product of the system. Funny. No QB hs benefited more from a system in the NFL than RG3. He had a system specifically designed to play to his few strengths. But we get it . RG3 was mishandled thus he was doomed from the start. KC has been given every luxury a QB could want.

I'm justifying his first season. As stated, after that, he hit the fan and sucked. Who said you were reaching for Griffin? Y'all needed a QB and he was the best one available. There was no reach in that instance. I'm also not saying trade up for a QB. If you suck that bad to have one of the top 10-12 picks and a good QB is available, I'd probably say draft him. But if you're at a draft position where you gotta trade up into the top 10 or 12, you probably shouldn't look to draft a QB. Like I've also said, if you haven't been paying attention, the QB position isn't even in the top 5 of problems that need to be solved with this team.

When you look back at that trade, the Rams didn't do too well on their end. You guys got a division title out of it. The Rams got a couple of bench players. RG3 sucks but he didn't in 2012. You guys actually won that trade.

You guys sucked, you needed a QB and weren't gonna get it by sitting at pick 6. Plus, you got a division title out of it. Be happy for 2012. What?! Top 10 offense in 2013?! In what category? Total yards? 23rd in PPG which is the stat that counts right? He inherited a 25th ranked offense and turned them into what? 25th in 2010, 26th in 2011, 4th in 2012, 23rd in 2013. He went to Cleveland in 2014 and took a 27th ranked offense in 2013 to 27th in 2014. Shanahan then took an Atlanta offense that was 12th in 2014 and took them to 21st in 2015. His hardwork finally paid off last year with a Super Bowl run. How's San Francisco doing this year? Don't call me out on not doing my homework if you haven't done it yourself.
