they should put his Dez commercial on hold while he isn't playing.

You might actually be the real Coach Spurrier. Both of you appear to be clueless idiots when it comes to the NFL. Stick to college pal.

I haven't seen them. I actually haven't watched anything outside of Eagles games this season, actually.

Living in the DC area, I feel like the Josh Norman commercials get shown a lot more.

Perhaps in college, but in the NFL he is definitely considered to at least be in the bottom 10 of those who have ever coached in that league. He was absolutely clueless when he was coaching the Redskins and might have been the laziest coach ever in the NFL. Imagine an NFL coach who didn't know the names of many of his players and planned his day so that he could leave by 5 or 6 pm. What a joke.

He also was a disgrace in how he left South Carolina. Bails on them midseason & then shortly thereafter takes a job with their rival Florida. Your respect for him again shows me that you know very little about the NFL game - keep your focus on college football. Thanks.

Cmon man. I have respect for what the Eagles are doing now, and they are a very good team. However the Redskins are also trending in the rt direction (assuming that they retain Cousins which I believe will occur). The Skins have been adding a fair amt of talent both via the draft & now even in free agency (Brown, Swearinger, etc).

I probably like Snyder less than you but feel that he will keep his interference down somewhat & this team will be OK moving fwd. Not sure what you mean by "When the Redskins last won one". The Redskins have won an NFC-E championship more recently than the Eagles & you shouldn't get too cocky about this season since a lot can happen moving fwd.

If you are referring to the last Redskins SB title - well - you know what they say "People in glass houses.....".

how many times have you been trending in the right direction only to have it all fall apart?

I am not sure how the Cousins plan works out for you guys. Before the season started, I would have said he doesn't want to be in DC. I think he needs better weapons on offense. Thompson could pan out, but losing his top two receivers in Jackson and Garcon hurt.

I didn't start the discussion over titles and really don't care all that much. Eagles have fallen short a lot. We had some shots at it and we will have more. Winning the NFC East is an accomplishment, I guess, but it still means little in the grand scheme of things.

There has never been any proof that Cousins has ever stated that he wanted out of DC. Quite the contrary - he has stated several times that he wants to remain on the Redskins. You appear to be taking your info from various sites that are basically run by folks like you & me & really have no insight into the thoughts of Cousins or the Redskins.

I can't comment on the past - only know that this team is moving in the rt direction. Unlike in the past they are doing things dramatically different. If you really know this team this should be obvious to you. Their draft record over the last 3-4 years is light years better then in the past. They also no longer appear to be going for the big splash FA (e.g. Haynesworth) or insane blockbuster trade (RG3). They appear to building a team w/ an eye on the future unlike the past (& the results are showing up on the field).

So what if Cousins needs more weapons? If so - they will pick them up next offseason or beyond. Pryor is on a 1 year contract so if he doesn't pan out they ditch him & pickup another WR (just like the Eagles did). That is not that difficult. Assuming that they retain Cousins they have the nucleus of a good offense - a good system that has been in place for several years, a solid QB and a good O line (as well as some other solid skill position players). The other players can be obtained fairly easily.

You admitted that you mainly pay attn. to the Eagles (as you should). Therefore you really don't know how the Redskins are built & what they have at this time (ditto w/ me & the Eagles). Let's just leave it at that. Good luck to both the Eagles and Skins.

The titles thing started because you asked what Eagles have to be jealous of lik a smart ass.

The weapons on offense are fine. They simply need to get healthy or up to speed depending on whom you are referring.

I thought you were referring to me being jealous of you guys having a CB like Norman, of which I am not jealous.

or maybe I was jealous of you guys having a Cb featured in stupid commercials, of which I also am not jealous.

am I jealous that you guys won a SB 25 years ago? I guess? I was 9 and I think I was a pseudo-Giants fan back then because they had just won it in 91. I didn't know shit about fandom back then. I was 9.

spurrier is a football god changed many lives off the
field a true coach not a fuck tard

No doubt there are football fans who prefer CFB over the NFL. As well as serious NFL fans who are just as serious or moreso about their CFB fandom. To fans in those categories perhaps he is. I can't call it. When it comes to his NFL HCing resume though. He's much more fucktard, a flappy, fish lips fucktard than football god.

I will say this in his defense. He probably couldn't have picked a worst place than DC, well, maybe Cleveland or Buffalo, or a worst owner than Snyder. Far as where to go and who to work for during his first foray into the NFL HCing ranks. That was probably his own damn fault though as well as the only NFL HC I can think of that came across anywhere near as arrogant as Spurrier did was Mike Martz. Who not surprisingly was one of the few NFL HCs Spurrier showed actual respect for. At least Martz had a reason to be a condescending dickhead who thought he was smarter than everyone else when it came to the NFL. Spurrier had no such credentials.

Member that Spurrier interview, I think it was Opening Day of training camp. He talked of getting finished with football practice with enough time left in the day to play golf. Snyder should've fired his ass right there. Unfortunately Snyder may've been the only person in the Skins organization that was more clueless about NFL football than Spurrier, at least initially. It was during that same interview that Spurrier in all his condescending, hubris induced dickheadedness matter of factly predicted the Redskins would be a top 5 offense in the NFL that year. To his credit he did get the 5 part right. Unfortunately the 5 was double parked behind a 2 in the rankings of NFL offenses as in 25th when the regular season ended that year.

I'm not a big fan of Marvin Lewis as a HC, least not as the Bengals HC. He did a pretty damn good job here though as undercover HC. Especially considering his lame duck status and LaVar doing whatever the fuck he wanted to do at any given time on the football field.

Yeah, football god @ Florida, sure, 20 years ago. Football god @ South Carolina, I might be wrong and Ganecock fans are better suited to answer that than I am, but I'm not seeing it. Football god as Redskin HC...shit. He couldn't coach himself out of a paper bag with the bottom torn out as the Skins HC.
