Does someone get bounced out to wing or do we trade one of our centers?

We have Zajac (pretty much untradable with that contract), Henrique (could be very tempting to another team but prefer not to move), Zacha, Quenneville, McLeod and whoever we draft tomorrow night. Something has to give.

One of the aspects about Nico that grabs me is that I for some reason see him more at wing than C... especially in a surprised C depth we are.

I think I like Nolan more at C than Nico however I like Nico more at wing than Nico at center if that makes sense.

i rather not trade henrique thats a consistent 20g player with the upside of 30.

A lot of rumors right now. Galchenyuk has been circulating. Wouldn't touch him unless it's a Shero miracle. Involving a player and 2nd round or later picks. Seriously hoping the Makar rumor is just espn click bait. Anything other than Nolan, Nico or something huge. Will not go over well with our fan base imo

Reading on Galchenyuk, Vatanen trade less likely, Devils still keen on Galchenyuk , is young and would fit in with our youth movement. If he brings additional skill to weak areas i hope we pursue it. Maybe MTL would take Camm? We could spin it as a vet with still to prove along with "leadership" and "goal scoring ability".... along with the 2nd and maybe 4th?

No way, that Makar crap is crap. Despite our D woes, its far from just players but its also a (imo) god damn coach/system issue too. NO way in the loss of one Adam Larsson could deteriorate such a unit alone.

No turning back, its got to be Nolan or Nico.

That's what I was really hoping. Cammy did have a great run with the habs. I would hit the roof if they could pull Cammy and some later picks off. Maybe a prospect we have a lot of depth at packaged. Or possibly the rights to Kovy and some later picks. But I'm not getting my hopes up either

This is where I'm leaning. But anything other than Nico, Patrick or a very elite established young player is unacceptable imo
