Cousins also helped with the pick and fumble. Seattle did not have to work hard after those mistakes. The Vikes gave the game away 3 or more different ways.
Nothing more hilarious then listening to fans of the losing team after a heart breaker.I am listening to Viking post game radio and the fans are livid

no it was actually pretty terrible. that seahawks defense was worn the fuck out, and getting their butts handed to them by the vikes' rushing offense. assuming the vikings kick the fg, then the seahawks pull off an unbelievable drive AND 2-point conversion to tie it and send the game to OT, i like the vikes' chances if they get the ball first, as i'd guess they'd have continued to just jam the ball down seattle's throat. if the game went to OT and seattle gets the ball first, scores and wins, all you can do is tip your hat to the victors, they were just the better team. but no, zimmer is a poor head coach, he's one of these guys who's good in a coordinator role, but trash when given the HC title. he needs to be sent packing, he can be a d-coordinator for a HC who's actually worth a shit in his role.

It was a typical Zimmer decision. Despite all that talent, he has never even sniffed the SB.The announcers cheered on Zimmers' decision, but it was a terrible one. Here's the deal: you kick a field goal and you're up by 8 points. The Seahawks would have to score a TD and convert a 2-point attempt. At worse, you go to OT. I thought it was a bad idea from the start.
Being aggressive and being stupid are different things.Fans only care about results. Had they gone for the field goal and Wilson marches down the field scores the TD and 2 point conversation they would have blasted him for not being aggressive.

Apprentice? Carroll preceded Belichick as coach of the Patriots.*Vikings go for it and succeed* "What a brilliant call, and that's the right decision!"
*Vikings go for it and don't succeed* "Should've kicked the field goal!"
*Seahawks pass and gets intercepted* "WHAT!? Why doesn't Seattle run with Lynch?!"
*Seahawks pass and get a TD* " Brilliant call by Pete Carroll... Belichick may just be getting passed up by his former apprentice.
Zimmer makes lots of poor decisions.I think you kick the FG 90% of the time there..I would. A 1-3 team should kick the FG...if it were Seattle a 4-0 team I think you go for it. You gotta play it safe against a top 3 team in football. The worst that can happen is you go to OT. Terrible coaching move
the FG was a gimme. they make the kick, and even IF the seahawks take the eventual possession and score, they still have to get the 2pt conversion and even then, the game only goes to OT.The Seahawks defense was worn out but you think they shouldn't have taken the chance to get that one half yard and seal the game rather than give Russell Wilson a chance to steal the game?
That's some strange logic.
