Not true. This team has made deep playoff runs to championship games 6 times in just the past 20 years. That's contending.

Any team with Romo at QB was never a threat to go deep in the playoffs. Any team that has Jason Garrett as the HC is no threat whatsoever to go deep into the playoffs.

The only thing the Cowboys are contending for now and for the past two decades is division titles. They were not and ard not at all serious/legitimate contenders to play in and compete for a championship.
