Even though Zek got a penalty last night for this stunt ...I'm curious as to where this goes from here.
I say there is no way the Zek gets fined by the NFL (They do get fined for this kinda thing right?)

I would not be surprised if the NFL & the Salvation Army go into talks the next couple of days to not only make jumping into the kettle an exception from the rule but also make it into some sort of promotion every year.

Lets see.

Just read he won't be fined by NFL. I have always thought the Lambeau Leap was just as bad but that's probably because I hate the Packers. Oddly enough though our coverage team probably had its best on that short kickoff after the penalty

The hypocrisy of the nfl. There is no difference in using an object as a prop and the lambeu leap.

Lets take a second and remember what the NFL has had to deal with.
Because it's buffoons like Joe Horn that made the NFL have to come up with these rules.
This may have been they actual act that caused it period.

correction ..it was the sharpie first ...no props allowed on your person but this one made them update the rule to include all props.

The Lambeau Leap was grangfathered in, I have no issue with that. The L Leap had been going on well before tge sharpies, popcorn, wipe your ass on the goal post... it was starting to get out of hand. Those athletes are role models wether they like it or not. Kids imitate their heros. How'd you like to take your son to Grandma's house and have him wipe his ass on her couch? Or even worse since
who knows where it might've ended with these antics. Athletes are entertainers that play sports. If they want to be actors go to Broadway.
Unforunately, there isn't a solid division of what's acceptable and what isn't? So the NFL was forced to draw a line.
The jumping in the kettle while cute and not offensive in anuway should still get a fine.

I loved it! It was good, clean fun, and sent a great message to a large audience. This is the time of year to donate to a good cause, and Zeke shined a big spotlight on that.

Glad the NFL pulled their head out of their ass on this one, and made the right decision.

I thought it was the best TD celebration ever.

I think I am in agreement with you.

The only one that is close for me, is when T.O. grabbed the cheerleaders pom-poms and started cheering for himself.

Edit: Scratch that, I forgot when Emmitt slammed the ball down on the Star after a TD, AFTER T.O. desecrated the Star. Big shout out to George Teague - you'll always be one of my favs for blasting T.O. at mid-field.

Kids don't imitate their heros if they know mommy and daddy are gonna whip datass for smearing it on MeeMaw's sofa

Agree. My son is a Pats Fan. I went down to the basement and noticed all of the footballs were deflated.:kidding:
