I am pretty sure this is the best Mount Rushmore by position ever in the league is it not? I cant think of another one that really comes that close. That is 4 players that in the decade they played were the best at their position in 3 spots and 2nd best at his position (Lewis > Urlacher). Tough to top that and nothing is jumping out at me. The only one that might is the RB Mount Rushmore the Bears can pull out there if you include those super old dudes.
Lewis/ urlacher ? I get most would say Lewis but I say BU. Not just because I'm a fan, but BU never got to play at the line and flow. He had to cover the whole field like a SS. Lewis could not do that. BU would have had better stats playing the more traditional MLB spot but he played in Lovie's cover 2 and stayed back more like a LB/SS mix. Don't take me wrong because Lewis was a bad man. One of the best ever.

Dallas can play with any team in this runningback game
Smith
Dorsett
Elliott
Walker

Id give the edge to the Rams at RB but I think Dallas has the best O Mt. Rushmore of any team. That Bears MLB crew can’t be topped!

Loved me some B&E back in the day. Such an underrated player on what I think is the 2nd greatest D ever. 85 Bears #1

I can also do a Mount rushmore at RB.

Sayers
Payton
Forte
Anderson.

As a Bear fan I wanted to win at least one of the rushmore threads so I made my own. I win.

too bad you blew your load too quick and didn't proofread your thread title. Slow your roll, derp, and admit Mitch was a mistake.

Yep. But don’t forget Concrete Charlie to finish off the monument.

Agreed..you win both of those....killed it with MLB, and your top two RBs would probably beat most 4somes.

IDK...facing this guy twice a yr for a decade plus I have to push back on this in bold...even for a foe.

Ray Lewis imo was never great in coverage, but good enough to bag 31 INTs...in run support he very well could get sideline to sideline for a long time...Lewis had the luxury of playing behind a very good but unheralded DL for most of his career.

I would take Wyman over Boz personally. But neither close to Bobby Wags, Tatopu or Young, imo.
Edit: Probably put Keith Butler at #4.

I thought about Butler but wasnt sure if he would be more of an OLB. I'd def take him over Boz if thats the case

Eh, I’m always in the minority but I think Tatupu was overrated. Was essentially Boz but Lofa’s team was much better. Both were good then injuries stopped them.

He’s kind of like Mecklenburg where he played a lot of positions, I’ve seen over the years him being put on Denvers top inside linebacker groups and outside linebacker groups by different rankings at different times so I thought it was worth it to ad him.

My point was BU's stats would have been much better if he played in a 43 defense. He had coverage duties no other MLB had because of the cover 2 defense we ran.
