I can’t see too many wins there then what you have and you hit on possibles that could happen . I can’t put up a rational argument with you Sty on win totals

Here are my way too early predictions for the season, where do you see 9 wins with Fitz? (If they get Lance I'm hoping that he doesn't start.)
  • Washington Football Team Home Opponents
  • Dallas Cowboys: Split with these guys gets the home win (win #1) [win also] 1-0
  • Philadelphia Eagles: Get a road win with these guys (loss #1) [win also] 2-0
  • New York Giants: Two losses here (losses # 2 and 3) [win also] 3-0
  • New Orleans Saints: Loss here but could surprise (loss #4) [loss] 3-1
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Loss here (#5) [win, avenging PO loss] 4-1
  • Seattle Seahawks: Loss here (#6) [loss] 4-2
  • Kansas City Chiefs: Loss here (#7) [loss] 4-3
  • Los Angeles Chargers: Loss here (#8) [win] 5-3

  • Washington Football Team Road Opponents
  • Dallas Cowboys: Loss here (#9) [loss also] 5-4
  • Philadelphia Eagles: Win this one (#2) [win] 6-4
  • New York Giants: Loss (#10) [loss also] 6-5
  • Atlanta Falcons: Get a win here (#3) [win] 7-5
  • Carolina Panthers: Eke out a win here (#4) [win] 8-5

  • Green Bay Packers: Loss here (#11) [loss also] 8-6
  • Denver Broncos: Another win (#5) [win] 9-6
  • Las Vegas Raiders: Toss-up and why I'm lean towards 5 wins this is the possible 6th [loss] 9-7
  • Buffalo Bills: Loss (# 12 or 13 depending on the outcome with the Raiders) [loss] 9-8
9-8 record it is... and that's ending the 2021 season with back to back losses. Splitting with each division opponent except Philly whom we sweep.

Snyder is always the unknowable wild card for the WTF.

I would think you'd want to stay away from a bet for total wins in a season. Too many variables that you can't control but you are much smarter about this kind of stuff than I am. Hell I bet a gal 50 cents tonight and that is big money for me. My bets with Cali were more my style. :D

My 50+ years of winning at sports betting has nothing to do with anything that I know but it has everything to do with the information I get. For example, I have a dear friend whose life I once saved, but that's another story. He has managed a major sportsbook in Las Vegas for over 30 years and on any given night he might call me. If the public is betting 85% to 90% on Team A, regardless of the sport, in any given game, he will tell me to bet Team B and I win 85% to 90% of the time. This usually happens about 15 minutes before game time and it's called following the sharp money which is the professional sports bettors who make big bucks. I would never put my dear friend's name on the internet because he would be fired in an instant for making these calls to me if anyone found out about it.

Without great information your bets with Cali are the smart way to go.

I think I might have talked about this some. I had most of the vices that someone might have at one time or another. I know it is not the same but I have/had a couple of friends that take bets since I was just out of HS. It was one of the few thing I did not get involved in. Call me Chicken Little. I have sat over 1 or 15 beers with them while they tallied or counted their losses. More wins than losses. I am glad you're friend is okay and your winning percentage is high. It is always good to have some friends in the right places, especially when they are good friends. And yes, those guys in Vegas know what they are doing.

BTW ... most of my vices cost me money ... wine, women, song and a few broken knuckles. Thank God for this hard Irish head. :trash: :pound:

I wish that I had your optimism. I asked and you came through, thanks!

You are definitely not Chicken Little by staying away from sports betting without good information.

Division wise, Hurts gets better but he is in year 2, Daniel Jones, well, Daniel Jones and Dak who presents the best challenge to the Division Champs. You actually think we lay down for Dallas? The WFT has a new moxy about them and it starts with C. Young and has been rubbing off. Finishing #2 in defense may have been some kind of fluke based on a bevy of criteria but it happened. This team is moving in the right direction after 20+ dismal seasons. That's my optimism Sty!
