Tua didn't get the benefit of a full off-season with the Dolphins after recovering from surgery. Now he's one year removed from that recovery and there's an anticipated return to close to routine training camps. Tua will get the benefit of all of this as Miami stays committed to him in a 2021 prove it season after his 1st Rd, 5th overall 2020 selection.

I agree, but I don't think that's his plan. I believe that Washington settles their long term QB situation this year or risk losing the confidence of its players.

BTW; In order for a plan like that to work, Washington would either have to fully tank a season or prepare themselves to pay whatever the cost to move up in the 2022 draft. You're right, it's a stupid, firing worthy plan.

Is this the greatest signing ever? No. But it literally costs us nothing. It is better than throwing away picks and praying Darnold is not ass. It is better than throwing away picks and hoping MM can lead us to the playoffs and then enjoy paying him an absurd amount if he does.

I agree with G on this ^^^^^^ It saves draft picks, does away with any potential trades with QBs with lots of ?s and if nothing else. The Skins will finally have a QB who's not afraid to throw the rock downfield which should make Terry Mac truly relevant. I signing Fitz was a decent move myself.

We still need a #2 WR, I'd like to see Gibson in that role and for the Skins to draft or via FA get a real RB who can handle being the bell cow of the running game.
