I love how Felix is turning in the best game he has pitched all season (arguably) and the Mariners fail to score when they have the best lineup of his career.

Definitely an appropriate 11,600th post for me. I've bitched about Felix's lack of run support for years.

Best outing by Felix since Sept 21, 2016.

Gives me hope because even the balls he threw were either on the corners, or were breaking balls with great movement. Good command and movement by him tonight.

Segura turned in one of the great innings of defense in team history the other night... then fails to do the simple routine play tonight. Kind of his thing though and we will take it with his bat. Still makes you when it happens.

Unlucky bounce, but could've played it better.

He was overly aggressive hoping he'd get to the ball in time to get it to second so Robbie could fire it off to first for a double play.

I will say this:

I'm happy I watched this loss, simply because Root showed that clip of Judge playing catch with a Mariners fan who looked really young. I know that Aaron Judge is now ESPN's new darling child, and that the Yankees suck, but that was soooo cool to see. I would've gone nuts as a kid to have that experience with any major league players. I've heard a lot of stories about Judge being that type of guy, makes me almost want to like the Yankees.

Just nothing to show for it, as it was just another typical outing for him.

The batters DO know that they're supposed to try and offer run support, no matter who's pitching, right? These are the basics, people; they should learn this stuff from fucking ELMO!

Not only that, they would a been .5 games back in the wild card with this win ... @#$^@# .... Now the pitching favors the Yankees big time the next couple nights... M's O better show up...

This is what drives me fucking crazy about this team. Just when things are going well and there is a little momentum, they play terrible baseball. And that's been a theme the last two years and it's so predictable at this point.

Felix was actually pretty good against a solid lineup. However too many clueless at bats. Not to mention the gaffes in field and the base running mistake by Seagar costing them a run.

This one is aggravating. Probably came back too early from the oblique but that doesnt explain his sudden inability to work a count.

Had 4 hits his 2nd game back. Since he's hitting .181 with a WRC+ of 72
