The OL worries me the most after today.

Same here.

I'm pretty happy with the improvements on Defense. Think back to last year at this time. Assignment-wise they've come a LONG way.

Offensive Line looks weak, and that means a scrambling Tommy Armstrong........and that means either really awesome things happen, or really really bad things.

They'll be a test, that's for sure. And don't get confused...I know the game today wasn't perfect. We did what we needed to do though and came out with a pretty decent win. MR knows Oregon better than Helfrich probably does. He hasn't been intimidated in the past...just outclassed at times due to talent. And other years he competed with them even with his inferior talent. We may not win this game, but I don't think we're going to get run off the field. And you can bet your ass MR wants this one.

Eliminate big plays. That's all I can say.

That, and get the ball to our WR's. My God we're deep at the WR position.

I seriously don't even know who the best target to get the ball to is anymore.

Reilly is a ridiculous weapon. Moore.....Westerkamp......Stan......DPE.....

Oh and then we also have the best TE in the country.

Shit just throw the ball up for grabs!

Maybe we should hire a special teams guy to teach some one.

He's a damn waste of money. Don't see anything on the field or the recruiting trail that says he's worth a penny of what he gets paid.

He's the scouting guru, both for identifying high school talent and scouting opponents. Not something that shows up like KW's recruiting or Bray's coaching, but he is very good at it according to Riley.

That said, nothing says that he needs to be a coach in order to fill that role...I'd like to see him in an administrative position next year.

We're gonna struggle in the punt game this year. Sam Foltz was just so good. I feel bad for Lightbourn because he's stepping into a role where he's trying to fill HUGE shoes.

I hope some people realize today that Lightbourn's fake punt was not a call from the sideline. The option is always there to take off and run with it and he thought he saw a wall of blockers and that Wyoming was far enough downfield.

It was a rookie mistake.

That is not my concern. I knew we were going to have a learning curve there when we lost Folz. The return game is back to just hope they can catch it and not give it to the other team.

You can't eliminate them, but you can keep them down. Today there were 2 plays of 20+ yards, if I remember right. That's tremendous, and a huge improvement over last year.

If we continue to have these issues when we face someone that can punt it further than 30 yards, I'll be upset. We haven't seen that yet. When the punter is that bad, the hope is that you catch it and don't give it to the other team.
