Would an undefeated University of Houston have any shot at the playoffs?

Of all the remaining undefeated teams, they probably have the best chance to run the table.

4 of their last 5 games are 'tough', but all at home - Vandy, Cincy, Memphis, and Navy.

Of course, the AAC plays a CCG as well so this could be another chance for the Cougs to 'impress'? Or would they simply have no chance regardless?

Obviously UH would not get in ahead of any 1-loss Power 5 Conference teams, but watch out if the Power 5 only produces 1 or 2 such teams?

Of course but it depends on both how dominant they are, and what happens to others teams. Certainly they would have a legit chance if they were up against a 2 loss team for a spot instead of a 1 loss team.

Big 12 should add UH and Cincy, or UH and Memphis.

Tuberville is a junky coach, but they could get someone better and do have great fan support.

Adding an Ohio school would be smart for the Big 12 so they could expand their territory. And of course adding Houston would be a no brainer.

I think they could have a decent chance at getting in ahead of some 2-loss Power 5's, of course a lot would need to happen for that to fall into place. Certainly no shot getting in ahead of any 1-losses though.
