Worst Super Bowl ever?

The NHL,NBA and MLB are looking up at the NFL which is easily the most popular pro fessional sport. How many worst to firsts do you ever see in the NBA or MLB? I really don't count the NHL as a professionaal sport so I wont compare

No repeat winners in a decade. No team has even made it to the game two years in a row, let alone win it in that time period. Neither of the last two SB winners made the playoffs this year. Two wild card winners the last 3 years. I'm sure i can find more...

I really thought Denver would win the game . After watching that last night it was clear that the NFC is so much better than the AFC right now. Im not sure any AFC team other than Denver cracks the top 10.

plenty of games like this?

I don't know how either of you want to define plenty but there have definitely been a lot of really bad Super Bowl games. I wouldn't even call last night's the worst. San Fran vs. Denver is probably the worst I have ever seen.

National anthem sucked ..... half time showsucked .... commercials even sucked ..... That's what made it the worst

I guess if its the worst in awhile thenyou are on to something. Seattle proved yesterday that there is not as much parity as there was 3 or 4 years ago. There is a major gap between the good teams and the bad teams. The Niners nearly beat the seahawks in their house a few weeks ago. The niners are a real good team right now. Does anyone think the Bears beatdown of the pats in 85 was a good game? Niners kicking the broncos asnd Chargers asses? Cowboy kicking the bills asses twice. Steelers thumping the Rams. Niners also kicked the dolphins ass. I am just in it for the football. When did rosanne barr sing the anthem?

Yeah the Steel Curtain was very good, but they didn't really Dominate like the Bears did IMO. I guess to be honest though, they did do it a lot longer than the Bears did, but the Steelers never really blew anyone out in the Super Bowls. I guess you could argue that they had to face better competition in those Super Bowls, I know Dallas wasn't exactly a pushover in the 70's.

Super Bowl XIII, no instant replay and a couple freak of nature happenings, cost us a few hall of famers and being the team of the decade. By the way, to this day, I still feel that super bowl was the best super bowl ever played despite us losing.

Bears and Ravens were one year wonders. The 70 Steelers had the best defense of all time IMHO.
