Just write Russell Wilson into Paul Allen's will for an undisclosed amount of money and part ownership of the Seahawks and call it a day.
Not legal under the CBA. None of the "creative" stuff like this is.

Crazy idea but if this can't get figure out till next season dose anyone think they might turn there attention towards Wanger and get his deal done instead? After all we haven't heard much about his contract talks?

Hard to say, but I think the Seahawks want to know the budget they have to work with after they sign RW to a extension, then get Wagner done.

This contract will get done before the season is over. No way they want to tag him and give him 23 to 25 mil a year. I just wish RW had a football agent and not a baseball agent.

Now that Tannehill extended, does that give Seattle (and Wilson) a benchmark? The Dolphins extended him through 2020 for $96 million with $45 million guaranteed.

Maybe, but I think we all agree RW is worth more then Tannehill, so the question becomes how much more.

Yes, Wilson is worth more than Tannehill, which I was not saying he wasn't. Just that, add this extension in with the Dolphins picking up the option for Tannehill, that means that if Seattle wants Wilson through 2020, then they'll need to pay more than the 5 years $112 million Tannehill will be getting ($16 million options for 2016 and $96 million extension from 2017-2020).

My gut suspicion? Russell Wilson's ego had grown by leaps and bounds in the past 16 months and he no longer believes that the Seattle stage is big enough to be a springboard for his post football asperations.

As of the report out today, Schneider vows to let Wilson play out his rookie contract and then FT him for his 5th and 6th seasons. Personally, I think that is neither a wise nor a compatible situation.

And I'm not so sure he should be the highest paid player on the team anyway. Maybe in 2 or 3 years from now, but not now.

I'm still thinking 20 to 22 mil a yr. I'm hoping for 18 to 20 mil a yr, but his agent his probably asking for 25 mil a yr to start. I'm just guessing on his agent.
