If I am following correctly, all four of them are actually getting paid comparable or even a little better than they were with the Eagles...especially when you take the guarantee and multi year aspects of the contracts into account.
Its reasonable to think then, that these weren't money cuts...that the contracts weren't bad. ....The Eagles simply didn't want the players...At any price close to market value.
With McCoy it was get rid of a market value player for a guy they lover at less than market value. Plus his style didn't mesh.
With Cole, it was always going to be a choice between Cole and Graham...and they got their guy.
Williams is simply a big headed guy with a mediocre performance. In the last year of his contract he either would have been great or a head case. In his case I would guess head case.
Herremans was simply an average performer and I think they wanted better...Surprised he got paid.
