Will Tom Brady break Peyton's TD and passing yards records?

Brady has about 58,000 pass yards and 428 TD's
Manning's numbers are about 72,000 and 539 TD's

Who thinks that Brady will break these records? Personally, I think he will fall short as he will need 3 full seasons of 4700 yards and 37 td's a year to get there. He has never thrown for 37 td's besides the historic year he had in '07. And although he has thrown for at least 4700 yards in 2 of the last 4 years, he has only done that 3 times total. For him to do it 3 times at the end of his career would be remarkable. Take into account that the NFL will probably suspend him, his chances go down even further.
Thoughts?

The only way he gets there is if he isn't lying about playing until he's 45. And even then I'd have my doubts if he'd make it those numbers.

I doubt any of the "old guys" like Brees, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, or Brady will get there. It is more probable, at this point that one of the young guys (who've already had a good start) can catch Manning if they: 1. stay healthy, 2. Continue to play at a high level every single year, and 3. play for a long time. Right now, Bortles or Winston? I'd have said Luck maybe, but he lost a year so he's got very little room to miss any more time.

Odds are nobody breaks his records for a long, long time.

Nah he wont make it. He'll just have to be content with post season TD's and yardage etc...

I think the guy to look at is Brees. He's only 11,000 yards behind, and is coming off a season where he threw for 4800. He probably won't get the TD mark.

SportsHoopla reporters were live in Watts when Lamont Sanford was asked if Tom Brady would ever eclipse Peyton Manning's holy grail records. His response is above. Please excuse lack of audio. (It appears that he, Fred, Rollo and Grady had been into the Ripple again.)
