Yeah, let me know when any team in the PAC other than maybe Washington wouldn't trade their season with the season USC just had. That's how much all this stuff you're talking about matters.
I can tell you as a USC fan there isn't a team in the PAC we'd trade our season with theres. None. Finished 3rd in the country and won the Rose Bowl. How many teams have won the world series when they didn't win their division? Thats what we have here. Congrats to Colorado and their Pac south title. Means little in the big picture.

By that standard.Wouldn't that also mean the play offs lost some luster. When they decided to take the third best team in the B1G. SC beat the B1G champions in the Rose Bowl.Finished 3rd in the country.And followed that up with a top 5 recruiting class.Not bad for a team everyone wrote off imo.

The point is USC ended the season ranked higher than all four. Learn the difference between losing a regular season game and the scope of an entire season. Clemson lost to Pitt yet at the end of the season were the Champs.
