Manning is on pace to shatter Brady's single season record for passing TD, Rodgers' record for passer rating, and Brees' records for passing yards, completions and completion pct. Will he do it?

Too early to tell. Wait it out until after week 10 or so. If he's still lighting it up after playing against great defenses like the Chiefs, then I'll say yes.

For the Broncos sake I would hope that he doesn't break the completion and passing yards record.

That takes a ton of passing and if he throws the ball 650+ times he will be out of juice by late January.

Maybe he has great receivers to throw the ball to; if he doesn't can we officially label him as overrated?

I can see them losing 3 games, max. They have a gimme next week and then travel to Indy to play. I just don't know that they lose that game but it's certainly a possibility. Home against the Redskins next, at SD, home vs Chiefs, at NE, at KC, Titans, Chargers, Texans and Raiders. KC and NE will be tough but the Pats need Gronk and Amendola to be healthy and playing well. I don't see this pace continuing but we'll see.

This is why Peyton has had the team practicing outside in the snow so that they are ready for games that are cold. The fact that the Broncos run game seems to be getting better each week will help. Defense will need to step up though as the games might not be in the 40-50 point range but more in the 30 point range.

Yes to the touchdowns, yards, and completion percentage. Maybe to the passer rating and completions.

Oh my goodness way to read too much into a comment. Yes Peyton has a lot of pull with the coaches as he is the leader of the team. So obviously the coaches are going to listen to what he has to say. The coaches as well as Peyton understand that come playoff time the cold weather will be a factor so it makes sense to practice outside in the cold to prepare for what is going to come. It is not just Peyton going to the coaches and saying "We are practicing outside and that is that." and then the coaches saying "Whatever you say Peyton we will obey your command."

Funny how many Saints and Pats fans are in this thread.
