Well he better get ready - the Cavaliers are not as good as they were last year. Granted that Mozgov was over-paid by the Lakers, but the Cavs needed his defense to stop the Warriors last year. The Warriors are better and the big L is coming

Mozgov is completely irrelevant in today's NBA. That is why everyone made fun of the Lakers for signing him. Centers today either need to be able to move their feet and defend in space, be an elite rim protector or a plus scorer. Mozgov is none of the above.

YES!! thank you!

its why you can go and get a center on the trade market for pennies on the dollar and the good teams have center as a position where they dont want to commit a large percentage of their payroll.

If it was that easy, the Cavs wouldn't be chasing a good one so desperately.
A guy 2 years out of the league.
Another from the D league.

sometimes i seriously wonder if you almost drowned as a child.

If the Cavs were "desperate" for a center they would have just paid Mozgov-

but as all the best teams demonstrate--- unless you have a center who is an absolutely elite player- its better to go cheap and invest in other parts of your team.

Having your center make the most money on your team is asking to be mediocre.

Not completely because he made a difference in the finals

You're old school dude and these kids today don't understand the true value of a legitimate center. We do because we've seen what they can do

Mozgov is what, way below average?
Pay him what the Lakers did?
He's useless for the most part.

Elite C's can make a huge difference and do.
Is there a give and take if an opponent goes real small?
Of course.
But the opponent will get destroyed on the other end of the court.

Who made the plays at the end of the Heat/Cavs game the other night?

Most of was overpaid. I got that part but the teams have spend a minimum so Short Buss got the first thing he could give the money too. Without .Most of, However I think the Warriors had that game sewed up because he counted when it mattered just like Robert Horry counted for the Lakers when it mattered. You need those players and when you go cheap, you risk not having that type of player when you need it. Just saying cheap ends up with birds cheeping away on your head with the white shit

You're a joke.
Warriors have Klay, Durant, Curry, Green.
They could play 4 on 5 and still win.

James is James and he has 2 other all stars. 51 win team though. We shall see.

Rockets have prob league MVP and play a 48 minute run and gun game, so a C is not that important.
They aren't winning shit though.

Spurs have Khawi and play as good as team ball as there is. They find ways to get production from their bigs.

Celts cant win... Why? Answer NO SIZE.

Wizards have Wall/Beal and they get decent play from their bigs.

Fuck off.

Cavs are signing/cutting a guy who has been out of the league for years and a D league C on the last day of the regular season?

Why (besides that Tristan isn't a C)?

Goodnight. Thanks for not having a logical reply.

Still waiting for your list of top 15 and where Cousins/ A.D. rank?

Slightly off topic but I expected the Cavs to (barely) win more than 50 games. And Cavs fans were claiming home court was important before and during this season......let's keep it real, Cavs fans.

I'll own up to wanting the Cavs to gun for homecourt earlier in the season... but I was talking about homecourt advantage in the Finals. That sounds completely ridiculous now... but back in January it looked like a real possibility. Back when they were only a game off of the Warriors... I thought it was worth gunning for cause they're gonna need any advantage they can get their hands off if they're gonna have a shot against the Warriors.

I haven't been worried about homecourt in the east, although I will admit that I thought they'd get it rather easily.

No. Not paying Mozgov $16 mil a year LMAO. I would much rather pay TT that bc he is a more valuable asset to the team, even if he is overpaid as well
