Run the ball, control the possession, and get the ball out quickly when the pass rush is coming.

It would go a long way toward building confidence against the Saints and Packers if the offense can feel like it has control instead of being on its heels.

I have confidence in the defense against the Rams specifically. 24 points should be enough to win this one, but I'll happily take 30+.

Good call... I would also like to see a few designed runs in there for RW early to help loosen them up...

And on Defense...

Follow this mantra

"Hit them Hard. Hit them Fast. OMG We're whooping their ass."

Win the turnover battle plus limit the dumb penalties and we should win this game. Offense needs to come out ready to go.

Let Russell Wilson cook! that doesn't mean have him throw the damn ball all over the place that means get him involved with roll outs RPO's move the pocket, bootlegs. Like they did in the 4th quarter against the 49ers to take over the game. THAT is what letting Russ cook means and will make Aaron Donald less of a factor ( He will always be a factor )

How often do we see off coverage and are like wow a nice 5 yard slant would be wide open... nope they try a 10-15 yard route instead. Or they are in off coverage and 2 deep then it's like they say hey lets go deep ... Uhm no that's when you hit them quick or smash them with Carson. The offensive play calling has left a lot to be desired for 2 months now that's for sure.

Couple big factors .... Is Adams gonna play ? Will Goff start for the Rams ? Those are 2 big deals for both teams ...

Per PC, the OL will be back at full strength for this game, so that's a positive. My money says Jamal Adams will not be playing, so that's a mark in the Rams' column. I would say there is no plausible way the Rams can win this game w/o Goff (unsure of his status, but I assume there is at least a reasonable chance he will not play), but then I cannot get the odorous memory of the Giants game out of my mind.

Based on how we beat them a couple weeks ago, I am expecting pretty much the exact same approach as what we have been seeing. We'll be ultra conservative on offense for as long as possible, rely on the defense to keep it close, and then count on Russell to save our ass at the end if needed.

The only way Jamal Adams is not playing Saturday is if he is physically incapable. No way he misses that game because of pain.

There's a difference between being hurt (feeling pain) and injured. Adams looked like he may be injured to me on Sunday. But I agree with you -- if he's just hurt, then I think he'll be out there.

True. Adams has been so focused on playing in the playoffs, I can't see him not playing unless he just can't.

He's a true game time decision and I'm sure he'll be lobbying like hell to get in this one.

Man the disrespect we’re getting nationally, so many people are picking the Rams, it’s like we’re some scrub team at 12-4.... Rams defense is good I get it, but lately our D had been just as good, and we have the better QB ... It’s funny how we’re always underdogs out here in South Alaska ....

thin skinned? come on man if everyone picked the Hawks they would lose. As it is every ESPN supposed "experts" pick is for the Hawks.

Think the Seahawks will be the "underdog" in every playoff game going forward. A bit surprising that with the Rams QB situation, Rams on the road, and losing the last match vs the Seahawks that the talk is the Rams winning. Not that I care, the media is about getting clicks and they must think that gets them more clicks.

I like this matchup. Hope Goff plays cause that broken thumb is no where near healed so he could have a difficult time passing and I think their RBs are also banged up. Yes the Rams will get their sacks but as long as Russ takes care of the ball and makes good decisions, they should get the W.

That's the greatest... Our team has always feasted on being the underdog...
