The big thing with Peterson is if he has another 2012 in him. If he doesn't then he brings a decent amount to the table but its not like a running back by committee wouldn't get you 90% of that anyways. I think he is kinda moot in the discussion unless he goes all MVP season again. Vikings had a solid backup RB IIRC.

for most of your life the NFC West and the Cardinals have been flat out terrible so I guess I shouldn't blame you for enjoying a decent football team in a decent division for the first time in ages.
Gotta take advantage when I can.

Those guys didn't have a year off like Peterson. Peterson is more comparable to Riggins in that sense. And Riggins put up 24 TDs at age 34.

Riggins was essentially a fullback and played 30 years ago. Defenders have gotten much bigger and much more violent.

True but when I look at other parts of the offense such as Lacy looking like he might actually be an impact player, TE position looking a little stronger, and they also are getting back Cobb from a tough injury season as well. So beyond Jordy they look like a stronger unit on offense and if Jordy is his old self I see them being a top-5 offense this year.

As a Rams fan, I wouldn't advise counting on Cook for anything other than timely drops.

Uh what? I talk Vikings, he talks Eagles. Not going to have much of a conversation like that. But he didn't want one anyway.
Your comment was like 5 words about directions of arrows or something.

That comment was concise and to the point. You don't like that the Vikings are an up and coming franchise with a great head coach. I suppose you could cry about it or attempt to mock them for it.:noidea:

Not saying he is a huge upgrade by any means but not like they had a great TE situation before he got there. So for me what I see with Green Bay is small upgrades throughout the offense that make life a little easier for Rodgers and well we all know Rodgers can easily be the top QB in the league so you give him any kind of help and they can have an explosive offense.

As most are saying, it largely depends if TB is ready to move forward again after a strong rookie season and sort of a running in sand type 2nd season, not terrible, but need to be better to get in that dbl digit win area again.

IMO GB could be a 12 win team this yr.
It's pretty common to have a sophomore slump. Even Matt Ryan has one his 2nd year.

Third place. Just ahead of the Bears.

I think this will be AP's last year in Minnesota. I hope he gets to go out playing in the Super Bowl!
I'd like to see that as well.

While losing to NE:yes:
