Why is this game on CBS

Both teams are NFC teams, so why is this game on cbs. I hate cbs and their announcers, especially phil simms.

I was wondering the same thing. Plus the absence of barely any sound outside the announcers takes away from the experience of watching a Hawks game.

I don't know. Sometimes they'll cross over if there isn't an AFC game to show, but there is a Bills/Dolphins game going on right now.

Let's hope that is the last game the Hawks are on CBS, just terrible. If you didn't know better you would think the game was played at an empty stadium. Lingerie football games are louder

I think this happened once or twice last year, but other than that I can't recall two NFC teams being on CBS.

I believe we have 2 more on CBS with Pitt and Cleveland. The Pitt game will probably have todays crew and the Browns game will have some 3rd or 4th string crew.

...yeah maybe 10 years ago with Walter and Hutch. Can these CBS guys name one of our offensive linemen not named Okung? And the only reason why they would be able to name Okung is he gets penalized every other play.

Going to be a painful experience watching the SB this season with these two clowns and CBS. Idk why they drowned out the crowd noise so bad and you can't even hear the QB's audibles.

As a part of greater flex scheduling starting last season, CBS and FOX can trade some all AFC/all NFC matchups, especially if there are an inordinate number of road games for one conference. This started last season.
