I would say at this point he has already shown that he can carry the team completely on his back and lead them to the playoffs and even to playoff wins. When he came into the league the Colts were the worst team in football and he took them from worst to first in the 1st year. He has had some talent around him but not a ton. He actually is reminding me of the Broncos back in the 80's with Elway in the team around Elway was mediocre at best yet they still found ways to win because Elway would pull out wins that they had no business winning.

Wellll Wilson has back to back superbowl trips with one ring.... not quite sure how much higher of a "ceiling" I care for. I guess at this point two rings. Is the goal and the first qb since Jim Kelly to lead his team to back to back to back superbowls. AFter that the question comes is he a HOF'er which im not willing to entertain right now.....

But yes lucks much taller and neck beardier.

When Luck retires, he and Peyton Manning will own every QB record in NFL history except INTs which will remain between Favre and Brees.

If I were starting a team I would much prefer to have Mr. Luck versus Mr. Wilson.

"just fine?"

show me his pocket numbers year by year.

He extends play's ... Seattle's O-line and receiving corp hasn't exactly been great ... But he still throws from the pocket just fine...

i dunno.

my eyes see something different. i know in 2013 he did much better than the past year...which to me means hes been figured out pocket wise.

Part of that was probably because we had Tate and Miller at TE in 2013 .. We weren't getting a lot of separation with our receivers... We desperately needed help in that area...

People using the team success argument need to remember that Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Jim McMahon, and Mark Rypien all won Superbowl Titles while Dan Marino, Fran Tarkenton, and Jim Kelly did not. Which QB from the first group would you want over Andrew Luck if in their prime? After all, they all won Superbowl titles too.

I like Wilson a lot, but it's Luck. He's dragged that team kicking and screaming to wins pretty much by himself several times. Aside from foot speed he's better at everything than Wilson with the possible exception of decision making and I think that will improve as Luck gets more help on offense and cuts down on forcing things that aren't there.

Oh jeez this again? I swear to God everyone does the Luck > Wilson thing because the first guy was #1 overall and the other guy was drafted some 80 odd picks later.

"Wilson has Lynch and a D.." and Luck has actual NFL caliber wide receivers and the biggest cupcake division of all time. Seriously... HOUSTON, JAX, and f'ing TENNESSEE?!?! Are you kidding me!? Has there ever been a division with zero talent at QB for this long? And then the f'ing Titans draft Marcus "Wait, there's more than 5 plays!?" Mariota... oh whatever.
