First game two sacks...one sack the next three game.

Nice Temp Fix

Pete is smarter than all of us.

The even bigger head scratcher was Jordan was a healthy scratch on Sunday. So cutting Freeney didn't make any sense.

Why was Jordan a healthy scratch ? What the heck, he looked great out there...

He was getting pressure though, even if it's not a sack getting pressure can alter a play, a sack is just a glorified tackle for a loss... Pressure is key....

Does anybody know why Jordan was a healthy scratch?

If I had to guess, and it is purely a guess, it is because PC & Co. felt there was a greater need for run stuffers than pass rushers when facing the Niners. Couple that with the fact that Jordan still is getting back to football shape and there is a logic for scratching him for that Niner game.

If they scratch him for the Eagles game then I have no idea what is going on.

Because Seattle's FO is retarded. This is the same team that desperately needed some veteran O-Line presence, so they signed Jahri Evans (who was 33 at the time) only to cut him weeks later and he's played great for the Packers.

Seattle's FO is like the dumbest smart person in the room. They generally make decent moves but often just a 'huh?' moment where everyone just throws their hands up in the air and decides to go rub one out as it's the only logical reaction.

Bears were shopping Josh Sitton at the deadline, and no one bit. I certainly thought Seattle would have taken a shot at him. He was a pro bowler last year, and is still playing at a very high level.

Speak for yourself.

Calling a fake field goal to your fullback from the 25 yard line with 7 seconds to go in the half says otherwise.

you make an excellent point. That particular fake, a shovel pass to a slow TE, was particularly puzzling.

Not to nitpick but L.Willson is one of the fastest TE's in the league running a 4.4...

Why did Carroll call for a fake field goal? "Because it would have been great if it had worked?" Bullshit. You can say that about any play with a low chance of success.

My only question is who is going to pick up Freeney?

That fake was laughable. There was what, 10 seconds left? Even if it worked, he had to go 20 yards or so to get the TD, otherwise time likely runs out. First down wouldn't have helped much.

he is? well nevermind then. Why in the world isn't he targeted more often then? Oh that's right, stone hands.

I know Seattle is very tight against the cap right now. The Duane Brown trade and having to hold onto Jermey Lane after that really gave them zero wiggle room. One of the best writers was saying they haven’t put Chancellor on IR yet because they don’t even have space to sign another player. M

I hope you're right cause I'll be down right confused if he's out Sunday night when they need everybody available against Philly.
