Why can't the NBA flex the Lakers out of these primetime games?

I understand them being scheduled in these games to start the year, but they could easily change the lineups a month in advance with no effect. These games are just pathetic with the lineup they have.

I think 2016 is the year. Next year still may be a struggle. However, Kobe, Gasol, Exum, and Love is a team that could beat anyone.
