My team was about 60-40 black to white. From Jr high on.

One time, we played a scrimmage pre-season with San Antonio Churchill, a very large,
rich school back in the day. We rode down there on our bus, went into their locker room. They had such a large team, that they really had two teams. Only had one black guy.

Our black guys gave him a hard time.

We beat their ass, got on our bus and went back home to Austin, stopping halfway at a roadhouse for a chicken fried steak celebratory meal. Those were good days...
