Well I did this post before that loss and yrs I still think they are ( as do most bracketology sys ). Right now I've got

1- Oklahoma, Nova, UNC, Iowa
2- Kansas, Xavier, Viryinia, Oregon

It certainly isn't far fetched Iowa being a #1 seed.

Well after crunching the #'s (and making some stuff up) I have determined that the Hawkeyes will struggle down the stretch & play themselves right outta that # 1 seed.

Is Villanova really a solid lock for a 1 seed? I just remember watching Oklahoma hammer them in Hawaii but have not seen them since.

The amount in which they lost to OU is their only "bad loss". Other two losses were at Virginia and vs Providence.

Whatever you say pal. I guess actually beating a team in head-to-head means absolutely nothing. There are several players on MD who should jell over the next few months so I think that you will see improved play as they near the tourney. We will see.

I'll be sure to use that the moment Marquette doesn't make the tourney. It's going to be the basis of my hate mail. "But we beat Providence on the road you fucking idiots!!!!...they got a 5 seed!!!"

I think after using such a fool proof argument of head to head the committee will have no choice but to announce that for the first time ever they will making a change to the bracket and rightfully adding MU.
