Without knowing how the turnovers happened, it's hard to say for sure. But I am awfully curious about QB1. TD creation is more important to me than turnovers as a general rule if the difference is granular.

And if the player is in a developmental stage (looks like it’s Fields) you could possibly coach turnovers out of the player. You can at least get better at reducing them as player gets more experience.

I'd rather have Fields. Jones is on a better team, so Fields is at a handicap when comparing stats. And Fields will improve more than Jones.

That’s why the blind comparison stuff can be flawed. One guy is still developing. The other guy is on the back end of his developmental stage though more Gabol may get an even better QB out of Jones. I’m still taking the upside of Fields.

It's probably worth noting Fields has low-key been one of the better QB's in the NFL since week 7. Can make an argument he's figuring it out more and more, albeit on a really bad Bears team.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Bears a trendy team next season. Good draft position and a large warchest to work with.

I think it's debatable that Fields is on a worse team personally. Coming into this season the teams were basically seen as the same

Ok im an idiot lol

Its 4 MORE turnovers not 11

11 is the total for QB1

Sorry yall

Feel free to change your vote
OK now I got it. It just wasn’t possible with 11 more because only so many QB even had 400 rushing yards and the only one that was reasonably possible to have 11 more turnovers was Allen and the rest of the numbers didn’t match up with anyone

Has Daniel Jones ever had a 8-9 week stretch as good as Fields has been on right now?
I mean.... i guess I'm not really sure how you qualify a great 8 wewk run

Fields average game the last 8 weels is 210 ypg and a 93 QB rating. He's got 12 TDs/ 6 Ints . He has ran it very well though.

I think people are going a little overboard on just how good Fields has been the last 2 months

But some people value QB run game more than i do so i get why they may see it differently

Fields' EPA/Play is .185/Play in that span since week 7. That'd rank 8th behind Joe Burrow right now if protracted over a full season. That's with some pretty dogshit weapons and constantly being put in bad spots by a terrible defense. It's a SSS, but it'd be hard to put the bust label on him. Daniel Jones best scenario is probably early 2010's Alex Smith. We have a better idea of what Jones is, imo.

Fields sucks as a QB.

Too early to say that, imo. He was really bad early in the season. He looks like a player the past couple months. He's earned another year as the undisputed starter in Chicago, imo. If he can't produce better passing numbers with a serious NFL surrounding cast offensively, then I'll hop on the wagon. Not until then for now.
