Seeing Casali on the list reminded me of being pleasantly surprised to find that, despite being in only 41 games with 127 PA, he has an oWAR of 0.6, and a dWAR of 0.8. Hope we keep him.

Seeing Casali on the list reminded me of being pleasantly surprised to find that, despite being in only 41 games with 127 PA, he has an oWAR of 0.6, and a dWAR of 0.8. Hope we keep him.

He's the ideal 2nd catcher. Problem is on this team he's the #1, and also hurt.

We have 2 top flight, blue chip prospects. One being the top lefty pitcher in all of baseball and the other ranked as the #3 SS prospect in all of baseball. We will probably (hopefully) have at least 1 more top flight blue chipper in the coming days.

While I don't completely agree with the first part I do concur with the middle section.

The last part ...eh.

I get frustrated too but injuries have played a big part in our season this year. They can't control that.

So when I bitch about a consistent everyday line up I have to keep that in mind. Although he does seem to platoon a lot even with healthy.
