Lacy seemed "to be breathing harder than the other [Green Bay] backs" Friday, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel writer Tom Silverstein reports.

Analysis: Silverstein added that Lacy "has his hands on his hips a lot." It's a concern that Lacy's conditioning might be lacking, because there's no shortage of competition in the Green Bay backfield, and Lacy won't get anything handed to him. He was also reportedly a bit out of shape during his April pro day workout. Lacy was always ready to rock at game time while playing at Alabama, but looking noticeably less conditioned than his teammates won't earn the trust of his new coaches. The good news is Silverstein also said that Lacy looks "pretty trim," so any issue appears limited to Lacy's conditioning rather than his overall shape.

So the dude has his hands on his hips.....and that is now a sure fire full proof way to tell a guy is out of shape?

How do the Packers always have so many injuries in Training Camp? I just looked at their report right now and its filled with players some being well more known than others. It seems like this is a problem they face every year, what do you think Packer fans think?

I wish I knew the answer. The good news is that so far, nothing serious all minor stuff that will keep guys out a week or two. Tramon Williams got hurt today but no news on that yet.

lol having your hands on your hips and breathing harder than guys that weigh 20-30 lbs less than you = winded all the time. Nice try, I thought you might actually come up with something legit.

I don't think it is crazy to think that Lacy needs to improve his conditioning but it isn't as serious as the "fat" stuff people were speculating yesterday. He can get in shape during camp and provide a key role on this offense and an excellent 1-2 combo with Franklin (until Franklin steals the job)

If Starks becomes our lead blocker in short yardage... I'm gonna laugh/cry. I love Kuhn because he brought power and toughness to the offense, and it was more necessary than people think.

And yes, people do love him for producing. Who else has smashed into Urlacher and taken him out of the play, opening a whole that James Starks would have been stuffed backwards through...sideways...

This has all been pretty funny but honestly something is wrong with that picture. It has to be stretched out or something.

It doesn't even look like the same guy.

I am ok with Lacy starting slow...he doesnt need to be AP in this offense. If we could even get Shonn Greene production our offense would jump to another level.

Imagine how good this guy would be if he wasn't so fat.

Lacy is a stud. He's the balance that offense has wanted for a long time. Packers are a solid team and will get some key players back on defense soon enough. Going to be solid for years...
