I agree they need to see what they got with Trubisky. He could surprise in the right system, IMO.I am behind Trubisky starting the season as the QB, & if he even plays average staying the QB for the whole season.
Let Pickett marinate this season.
If Trubisky turns into a pile of shit & Pickett looks good in practices. Some point in the season make the switch. Hopefully not to early.
I actually want trubs to do well for @noonthirtyjoe also. No one gave himI want Trubs to start, do well and then listen to @noonthirtyjoe lament all that is the Bears

More crap than me. Now im trubs biggest fan
If his vision hasnt improved …trubs really struggles to see the whole field. He was a see 1/2 the field guy. Tools have always been there in spadesI think the talent is there, but he really needed somebody to give him some flow and consistency to get him some confidence...Nagy didn't do that at all...and I loved crapping on Joe...
I think you need Trubs and his mobility....the OL is going to be average....at best.Kenny Pickett is 24. Played a bunch of years in college. Drafted in rd 1. Start him.
Kenny is mobile. Im wanting trubs to start. But kenny is mobile.I think you need Trubs and his mobility....the OL is going to be average....at best.
Historically speaking, I think most older 1st round QBs end up starting in year 1. The problem with starting Trubisky is he could luck into an okay season but Steelers probably won't want to commit to him. Just pull off the band-aid and start your future QB imo (assuming he is ready obviously)I think you need Trubs and his mobility....the OL is going to be average....at best.

Yep.Gotta be Trubs, he is better than Mason and a bridge until Pickett is ready.
I can agree with that. If they are like 3-7 or 4-6 start Pickett.....however, if they are 5-5 or 6-4 stick with Trubs.....Trubisky should beat out Rudolph. If he doesn't it will be a disappointment. I think it would be smart to give Pickett another 10 weeks.
Rookie QBs ( that are first round picks) no longer sit on the bench for a year soaking up things by watching, they get thrown in the fire. You learn best by doing not watching and with the advantage of a rookie contract wasting a year just isn’t what teams normally do. Pickens has look good in preseason, the fans want him to start. He will be starting game one.Gotta be Trubs, he is better than Mason and a bridge until Pickett is ready.
