I have a feeling some crazy unexpected last-minute-stuff will be going down.

My out-of-nowhere prediction: Red Sox trade Dempster to the NL, possibly the Pirates.

Anyone got any? Will Garza go somewhere other than the Rangers? Could the Cards or Pirates swoop in at the last moment? Will K-Rod end up with the Leylands?

James Shields to St. Louis would just be criminal. Moving Matt Adams, perhaps?

Adams would probably be the key offensive part along with a young arm...Kelly, Martinez. I think Rosenthal is untouchable as is Miller. Time will tell.

Kelly or Martinez is like saying Tigers dealing Castellanos or Hernan Perez.

There's a club option on Shields (13.5M), but I can't see a) St Louis paying the prospect price (they're too smart) or b) KC admitting their defeat esp dealing Shields, the key piece in trading Myers away.

Now if they could get him for Kelly and Adams, nobody would turn that down...and the Royals are stupid... I guess I just talked myself into the possibility lol

Now it's getting ridiculous. The Tigers want Nathan, the O's want Peavy, nobody wants Rollins, and he ain't goin' anywhere even if they did. Oh, the Tigers want Gregerson. or Thatcher. Or that other Padre whose name I always forget. Thayer. Yeah, that's it.

The Rangers want Pence. No, the Pirates want Pence. The Cardinals want Peavy or another good starter, but they can't seem to give Carlos Martinez away. What's up with that? The Red Sox want something, but they're not sure what. And nobody wants Michael Young.

Did I miss anyone?
